To introduce our new brand TRUE ARTIST, we followed an idea close to our hearts: visiting the home of a real artist. True Artist kidswear, Soula Christou mosaic artist, Limassol creative workshop
Our journey led us to the extraordinary house of Soula Sophocleous Christou, an artist and soul of the local art scene. Nestled in a quiet street in central Limassol, this timeless home—built back in 1990—is filled with textures, light, memories, and handmade stories. The kind of place that breathes creativity.
Wearing pieces from the TRUE ARTIST collection, Dalida and Aria explored, observed, and played — like little artists in training. The setting couldn’t have been more fitting: bold patterns, soft light, artifacts of her process lining the walls and shelves, and a warmth that reflects the spirit of the brand. One of the most striking features in Soula’s home is a bold, long bookshelf — a statement piece lined with art books, sketch journals, and visual treasures collected over decades. During the shoot, Dalida and Aria naturally gravitated toward it, spending time leafing through pages, reading, and quietly discovering a world of colours, forms, and stories. It felt like more than a shelf — it was a portal into Soula’s artistic universe, inviting curiosity and sparking imagination.
It’s more than clothing. It’s about expression, comfort, and childhood in its most imaginative form.
And to continue this creative journey, we invite you to our upcoming workshop:True Artist Kids: Mosaic Edition — a hands-on session led by Soula herself. Kids will create their own mosaic artworks inspired by iconic patterns from our favourite brands.

About the Artist
Soula Sophocleous-Christou (b. 1958, Limassol) is a Cyprus-based artist whose work spans painting and mosaic. A graduate of Anglia University, Cambridge (BA in Sociology, History of Art & Art), Soula has spent over four decades immersed in both education and artistic practice.
From 1981 to 2013, she worked as an art teacher in Cyprus’s secondary education system while developing her own mosaic studio, where she took on both private and public commissions. Her mosaic work now graces public schools across Cyprus, financial institutions worldwide, and public art collections in Greece.
One of her most celebrated projects — a series of Olympic posters interpreted in mosaic — debuted at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, later touring internationally and ultimately entering the permanent collection of the Municipality of Marousi, Athens.
Soula's works are held in private collections across the globe — from the USA, China, and France, to Kenya, Lebanon, and her native Cyprus. Today, she creates from her purpose-built home studio in Limassol, focusing on pieces that reflect a life devoted to artistic exploration.
For years, Soula has also shared her love for mosaics through hands-on lessons with adults, children, and individuals of all backgrounds and professions. Her workshops have always focused on more than just technique — they offer a moment of connection, a creative escape. From the simplest patterns to the most intricate compositions, participants learn the entire process of mosaic-making: designing, cutting, applying, composing, and grouting. The goal is joy, satisfaction, and a quiet sense of serenity that comes from working with one’s hands and creating something lasting.
A heartfelt thank you to Soula Sophocleous-Christou for opening the doors of her home to us — for welcoming Dalida, Aria, and our team with kindness, creativity, and warmth. Being surrounded by her art, her stories, and her generous spirit made this experience truly special. It was more than a photoshoot — it was a moment of inspiration we’ll carry with us.
